Canon ha annunciato la mirorrless entry level EOS M10 e la compatta, con sensore da 1'', Powershot GX5.
La Canon EOS M10 si andrà a posizionare nella fascia entry level delle mirrorless Canon (Canon EOS M, EOS M3) adottando un design semplicistico e compatto, un sensore APSC CMOS da 18 megapixel, un processore Digic 6, ed un sistema di autofocus Canon Hybrid CMOS AFII, che vanta 49 punti di messa a fuoco. Il monitor touchscreen 3'' da 1,04 milioni di pixel sarà snodabile e ruotabile a 180°. La fotocamera può catturare video Full HD (1920X1080) a 30 e 60fps.
La Canon EOS M sarà disponibile anche in kit con il nuovo obiettivo zoom EF-M 15-45 3.5-6.3 IS STM.
La nuova compatta professionale Canon Poweshot GX5, può vantare un mirino elettronico da 2.360.000 punti, un sensore (Sony?) da 1'' (20 megapixel), monitor snodabile touch screen di tipo capacitivo, un luminoso zoom ottico da 24-100mm F1.8-2.8 (equivalente 35mm) e diaframma a 9 lamelle.
